Concepts and strategies - applying biological system theory to the Web

Over the years, I've amassed a wealth of information on different ways to handle chance, uncertainty and competition. This interest started years ago when I owned a gaming club and spent the best part of two years playing professional poker. This experience triggered a life long interest in probability and game theory that eventually led me to the fascinating worlds of complexity and evolutionary strategies.

The conventional business world of procedures and planning held no interest for me. What excited me was the idea of entering commercial areas where I had no prior knowledge or experience and trying to create a succesful business from scratch. It wasn't about money. It was about the game. Many times I've abandoned businesses just at the point where they had become successful simply because they held no further challenge.

As I find the best way to understand complex problems is to write explanations in a way that others can understand, I have built up a considerable archive of writings that cover many years of both study and practical application (and the writing of five books). These I am now in the process of transferring to the CD-ROM "Concepts and Strategies".

When I get round to finishing it, details of this CD-ROM and its publication date will be sent out in the newsletter
