Small World clustering

by Peter Small

Not everybody owns a computer. Most of those who do are not very adept at using them to obtain information from the Web. The reality is that most information on the Web is located and seen by a very small minority people. This small minority transfer this information to the wider world.

It is important that developers of Internet based projects should understand the mechanics of this wider dissemination process.

On the left are links to some excerpts from the CD-ROM "Concepts and strategies", that shed some light on the phenomenon of small world clustering and the dissemination of information through a population.
