Patisserie Art information source 2

The 3D Arts Studio project, started in 2018, was halted in March 2020 due to the covid-19 UK lockdown. The work involved the creation of a series of designs for moulds to be used by cake decorators and pastry makers.

This was in conjunction with the Stigmergic Systems' project to build an on-line information base to inspire creative patisserie art:

The 3D models are created with the 'Blender' 3D graphics program

The 3D model is converted into slices and programmed for the 3D printer to understand

The 3D printer uses the program from the slicer to print the figures

Silicon rubber is poured into the box to cover the figures

After a few hours the silicone rubber is set and the mould can be removed
